CUPA Programs

The CU Parents Association (CUPA) promotes and assists in the administration of several valuable programs that enhance the education for our students.  These programs include the promotion, review, and awarding of:

  • Scholarships for continuing and transfer students.  There is not a CUPA scholarship for incoming fall, 2012 freshmen.
  • Grants for campus student groups and Student Affairs departments
  • Marinus Smith Award recognizing faculty and staff
  • CU Proud Award recognizing student actions and achievement beyond the norm

The funds to support these annual programs come from parent donations made to the Parent Fund.

Programming and outreach by CUPA members includes volunteering on behalf of the University of Colorado Boulder for events and receptions on campus and in their hometown.  Many times our parents wish to continue their relationship with the university as parents of alumni by joining the Forever Buffs programs. Whatever your level of commitment, we know that all parents are involved with their students and we are here to partner with you in that effort.
