Angela Farone grew up in Boulder. She is an alumna of the University of Colorado Boulder — B.A. (‘90) / M.A. (‘99).
Angela’s career in higher education development spans 14 years. Her experience includes strategic messaging, program development, fundraising leadership and management, volunteer recruitment, capital campaigns, and fundraising from annual funds to major gifts. After a 5-year term at a small, private university, Angela was thrilled to return to her alma mater in January 2007 as Associate Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences. She has been the Senior Director of Development for Campus Programs and the Parent Fund since March 2009.
Angela has a son who is attending college in California. She enjoys hiking, reading, and watching basketball.

Amy Westfeldt has been in Boulder most of her adult life after being raised in Palo Alto, California. She received her B.A. in Writing and Literature from Naropa University where she studied at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics.
Amy has worked in the development field for over 10 years. Before switching fields, she worked in high tech and aerospace editing and writing. She joined the University of Colorado Foundation in February 2008 as Associate Director of Development for Campus Programs.
Amy is a volunteer co-editor for the Arts Committee for the annual Conference on World Affairs. She also volunteers with the Boulder Mountain Fire District as a phone mobilization coordinator. Her son graduated from CU Boulder in May 2012 and is gainfully employed! She enjoys skiing, hiking, watching baseball, whether it’s Little League or the Rockies, and feeding family and friends on the deck of her home – at least when it’s not snowing or raining – in the foothills west of Boulder.

Katie is an Ohio native and moved to Boulder in the spring of 2015 to join the Campus Programs/Parent Fund team. Katie is an alumna of Ohio University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.
Katie has been working in the development field for over eight years and holds a broad spectrum of fundraising knowledge. Prior to joining CU-Boulder, Katie worked at The Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital for three and a half years; first in a volunteer management and events role and, more recently, as an Associate Director of Development for major gifts. Katie’s development experience began when she joined the donor services department at The Columbus Foundation, a community foundation, where she supported donors and guided their philanthropic giving.
Katie loves the outdoors, hiking, running, laughing and spending time with loved ones.

Hayley Thompson is a Colorado native who was born and raised in Loveland, Colorado. She is a CU alumna and holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs.
Hayley’s experience comes from her job as a Floating Program Center Manager for RuffaloCODY. She has worked alongside four different universities’ development programs to enhance parent and alumni relations and boost fundraising efforts through on-campus call centers. She has worked with many different universities including the University of Colorado, the University of California, Los Angeles, Pepperdine University and San Diego State University.
Hayley is a true Buff at heart and enjoys taking in all that Boulder has to offer including the great food, scenic hiking trails and friendly people.

Christina Sollenberger joined the University of Colorado in 2014. She holds a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology from Earlham College and a Certificate of Nonprofit Capacity Building from Regis University.
Christina moved to Boulder in 2011 through the AmeriCorps VISTA program. Before joining the University of Colorado, Christina served as Development Director at a local Boulder non-profit for three years. Her development experience includes grant writing, event planning and video production. A Pennsylvania native, Christina cherishes her trips back east and seeks out opportunities for a NY slice and a really good bagel.
Christina volunteers with the local young professionals chapter, teaches ESL classes and is a member of the Boulder Mountainbike Alliance.

Rowan Moody was born in Colorado but moved to Northern Virginia when she was 10 years old. She holds a B.A. in Modern Literary Studies from the University of Virginia.
Upon graduating, Rowan worked for the University of Virginia’s Children’s Hospital in development. She arrived in Boulder in August of 2014 and worked for a small start-up on the Pearl Street Mall before joining the Parent Fund and Campus Programs team in December 2014. In her free time, Rowan enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, writing, comedy, and recently has taken up snowboarding.

Barbara Carlough is from Ohio and has been in Colorado for the past 22 years. She started with the University of Colorado in the spring of 2012.
Prior to joining the Campus Programs/Parent Fund team, Barbara was an Executive Assistant to the CEO/CIO and CFO of Westpeak Global Advisors in Boulder. As such, she brings with her a broad range of experience including coordinating meetings and schedules, producing client reports, prospect presentations, and general marketing materials, as well as maintaining office databases. She has additional experience in maintaining the compliance program, office management and human resources administration. Prior to Westpeak, she was the assistant to the President and Creative Director of an advertising agency, which included managing the production of all projects from start to finish.
Barbara enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, traveling, and tap dancing. She and her husband are avid gardeners. When possible, she volunteers at a local animal rehabilitation center.
