Opened in Fall 2010, the Center for Community is a cornerstone landmark on the CU-Boulder campus. The Center for Community is home to a number of student services such as Career Services, the Office of International Education, Counseling and Psychological Services, and the largest dining center on campus.

The Monahans are experienced philanthropists and volunteers and have likewise been integrally involved with the CU Parent Fund since 2004. During Steven’s time as a student, the Monahan’s took a leadership role through writing letters encouraging parent support, establishing new programs and by being among the most generous donors to the Parent Fund since it began in 1984.
